The hard way...

Never before had I understood the genre of tragedy. The reason for stories that will definitely not have a happy ending. The reason is simple: they show us how life is.

Life has its wonderful moments, but it hurts. And can wound you badly. Even kill you. Tragedy doesn't hide those facts. It makes them beautiful. Tragedy reminds you that your feet are on the ground. That cement is hard and scratches. That even paper cuts. That the softest hand, can be deadly, even when it tries to be kind.

Because it's nature's way to be tragic. Beautiful and tragic. Joyful for some moments, but never for too long. Tragedy makes you treasure those kind moments. Those pretty little details that make you smile. Because the bigger picture will only be clear when you die, if ever. And you cannot live your life waiting for suffering, because you'll definitely find it. It will find you one way or the other. Sad thing to learn the hard way.
